The Basic Pistol Safety Course is designed to educate new pistol licensees on firearm safety, revolver and semi-automatic pistol parts and operation, ammunition fundamentals, how to properly grip a revolver and semi-automatic pistol, the fundamentals of pistol shooting and pistol shooting positions, pistol malfunctions and how to address them, and pistol maintenance and storage.

The class is approximately three hours in length. The cost is $85 payable by credit card using the Square application at the end of the course registration form. The course fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. If for some reason you can’t make the course on the scheduled date, you may enroll in any future class that fits your schedule.  (Note: this is for educational purposes and is not required by the State or County.)

The next scheduled course is TBD.  This course is not required to obtain a pistol license.
